Rhan-Tegoth, The Horror in the Museum - Lovecraft by zombiequadrille Rhan-Tegoth, The Horror in the Museum - Lovecraft by zombiequadrille
Rhan-Tegoth, The Horror in the Museum from the story ‘The Horror in the Museum’ written by H.P. Lovecraft and Hazel Heald.

Surely one of Lovecraft’s wildest looking creations, I have to wonder if Lovecraft didn’t put a bunch of creature part ideas in his ‘BUILD A MONSTER’ hat and select them randomly. Still, it was an enjoyable story and I just had to sculpt Rhan-Tegoth.   Here he sits on his ivory throne, as described in the story.

The original sculpt is 5 ½” tall and was made from Monster Clay.  I make copies for sale in ivory colored resin that is given a patina of age.  They sell for $45.00 plus priority shipping.  Anyone interested in having one should contact me at zombiequadrille@hotmail.com  for details.     Thanks.

Just received my new idol. Excellent! Once again, it looks better than the photo. Clap

I'll have to read that story. This is one of Lovecraft's wilder idea, and you've made it look great.  The throne details add to the overall look. Clap

Thanks. The story is a stretch, but has plenty of things to make it a good read.
