A 'Hound of Tindalos' based on Frank Belknap Long's story "The Hounds of Tindalos" published in the March 1929 issue of Weird Tales. It was considered to be the first 'Cthulhu Mythos' story written by someone other than H.P. Lovecraft. As nicely desribed in Wikipedia, the Hounds were a pack of foul and incomprehensibly alien beasts"emerging from strange angles in dim recesses of non-Euclidean space before the dawn of time" (Long) to pursue travelers down the corridors of time.
My hound was sculpted with super sculpy and painted gold with a
verdigris patina. It's depicted 'resting' but ever alert on an angular plane in Tindalos. It's about 5"x6"x2 3/4". Copies of this figure are available. They are cast in resin and painted as the original.
